Dr. Alvin E. Hall, Sr.
Dr. Alvin E. Hall, Sr. is a highly regarded professional with over 50 years of progressive leadership responsibility in both private and government-funded industries. Dr. Hall founded Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. (now STI-TEC) in 2000 and he continues to lead the company’s strategic management, operation, and marketing efforts to successfully penetrate identified markets. Under his leadership, STI-TEC has grown from a Dayton-based small disadvantaged business to a dynamic, growing national presence in such areas as engineering, logistics, intelligence, cybersecurity, and professional services, while maintaining the same customer focus and employee orientation on which the company was founded.
Dr. Hall possesses a strong background in program management and community development with an extensive background in marketing, labor relations, organization development, process management, and facilities management. He has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the principles of diversity and equal opportunity. Prior to founding STI-TEC, Dr. Hall has worked as Executive Director for EG&G Inc. in Washington D.C., as well as Mound Applied Technologies, and Monsanto Research Corporation in Ohio.
Dr. Hall holds a Doctorate in Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wright State University. He also holds Certifications in Managerial Analytics and Process Quality Management.
Dr. Hall has been a speaker for American Society of Quality Control (ASQC), American Business Women’s Association, and Nuclear Weapons Quality Managers Association and many other organizations. He has lectured at Central Michigan University, Sinclair Community College, and Wheeling Jesuit University and served as the commencement speaker at the Ohio Southern College and Wheeling Jesuit University. Dr. Hall was a contributing author to the OQPF Deming Users Group’s “Analysis of Deming’s Points Two and Four” and authored “Challenges We Face in the 1990’s”, “Assessing TQM Practices at EG&G Mound”, and “Business Communications and Listening”. His doctoral applied research project (ARP) is titled “The Social Construction of Interactive Practices Within the Context of Contradictory Notions of Respect and Discounting, An Exploratory Ethnography of Multicultural Professional Relationships”.
Dr. Hall has received honorable recognition from Sinclair Community College, the U.S. Presidential Accommodation for Community Service, Boss of the Year – American Business Women’s Association, and Citizen Trailblazer.
