New York, NY – March 6, 2019 — During its inaugural Pitch Day event, March 6-7 in New York City, the U.S. Air Force awarded 51 contracts totaling nearly $9M in a matter of minutes. After months of coaching and collaboration with STI-TEC, Delta Development’s idea was selected from 417 submissions to make an in-person presentation. Delta Development made a 5-minute presentation at Pitch Day and was awarded a $158K contract to further develop an innovative refrigeration product designed to help bring fresh whole blood further forward on the battlefield—saving time and lives.
